How to delete your account

In the RaceTale app or on racetale.com:

• Sign in with your email.
• Open Profile.
• Tap Delete my account, then confirm with Yes, delete everything.

The deletion starts at once and cannot be undone. If you cannot sign in, write to contact@racetale.com from the address you signed up with and we will delete the account for you.

What is deleted

When you delete your account we delete, for good:

• your profile and your sign-in email address;
• every race you created, with its result, route, timeline and share links;
• every photo, clip and cheer on those races, including the original files, the smaller copies we made, the share cards and any download file;
• your profile picture.

What is kept, and for how long

Short-lived backups held by our database provider expire on their own. Payment records are kept by Stripe, and by us, for as long as tax and accounting rules require.

Nothing else is kept after the deletion.

Delete only some of your data

You do not have to delete your account to remove something:

• Delete one race from its settings, and everything in it goes with it.
• Hide or remove a single photo, clip or cheer on a race you own.
• If you added photos to a friend's race through an invite link, open the same link on the same phone and remove your own uploads. This works without an account.
• Write to contact@racetale.com to ask us to remove a photo of you from a story.
